🎹 Beginner Piano
It’s never too early—or too late—to begin your piano journey!
For our youngest students, ages 5–6, Taylor uses Music for Little Mozarts, a fun and engaging program that combines lovable characters and storytelling with music theory and beginner repertoire.
Beginner piano students of all ages will learn to:
- 🎵 Play fun songs they’ll be proud to share with family and friends
- 📖 Develop music theory skills and learn to read music
- 👀 Build sight-reading skills
- 🧍 Practice proper posture and piano technique
- 💪 Strengthen finger and hand coordination
- 🎼 Develop a strong musical foundation and confidence at the piano
🎼 Experienced Piano Students
Already have piano experience or looking for a new instructor? Taylor is happy to meet you where you are.
During your first lesson, Taylor will assess your current skill level and create a lesson plan tailored to your individual needs and goals.
There’s no need to start from scratch! Taylor is happy to continue using the books and materials you’ve already been working with whenever appropriate, helping you avoid the unnecessary cost of purchasing new materials.

📚 Affordable, Student-Friendly Materials
Taylor keeps required materials to a minimum whenever possible, helping families keep the cost of lessons affordable.
Students primarily use the Alfred Piano Library, with an All-in-One book option available for each level. Additional resources may include A Dozen a Day and music theory flash cards.
For our youngest students, the Music for Little Mozarts library is also used.
